At the beginning of September, Jacqui, Sara and 9 lovely ladies from classes went away for the weekend to a sewing retreat!
What happens at a sewing retreat I hear you all cry! Well, basically, we sleep, eat, sew and then repeat for every day that we were there!
The retreat is near Battle in East Sussex and has beautiful grounds and surroundings. They have a chef who comes in to prepare the meals, and then we were left to our own devices to sew as much as we want. We would start at 8am and still be in the work room at 9pm! It was exhausting but relaxing in the same way.
Needless to say we have booked again for next year!
